A note from Terri Lane, Bella's foster mom.
Sweet Bella Mia passed away during the early morning hours of Monday, June 22nd. I am so saddened to lose my little clown. Bella was always a happy girl with a sunshiney personality. She always had a huge "smile" on her face. Just the day before, she was enjoying her favorite hobby of hunting lizards. She would be engaged in that activity for hours at a time!
I fostered her for about a year and a half. Her previous owner moved off and just left her and another dog and a couple of cats behind. The BCHS rescued all of the abandoned critters. Bella was positive for heart worms, and she received veterinary care. Even in her older age, she was worth the trouble and expense to give her a new lease on life! She brought joy to my home and though she was not adopted, she was a happy girl and was well taken care of. I feel privileged to have been able to love and care for her during her golden years. She was happy, carefree, and never again had to wonder where her next meal was coming from.
If there is a Rainbow Bridge, she'll be waiting there for
