Four
Things We Do in Furcadia
#1. SOCIALIZE. Just be yourself! Lots of people come to
talk about Real Life (RL), you don't *have* to roleplay. Meet people from all over the
world, friends that have the same hobbies as you, or maybe even find a little romance!
#2. CHALLENGES. Games like checkers and go, puzzles of all sorts, are all part of
Furcadian fun too. Visit the Puzzle Palace and put together a jigsaw puzzle. Feeling
creative? Click the dream editor button, or press CTRL-E to make your own map-- then go to
Allegria Island, press CTRL-T, and other people can visit!
#3. PERSONA PLAY. Be someone else, make up a background history. Persona play is
relaxed make-believe, let's-pretend. You don't *have* to be IC (In Character) but others
will appreciate it. Please stick to our theme, which is non-human bipedal talking mammals.

#4. ROLEPLAY. Like #3 but with Rules and Continuity (a coherent world where what
happens today shapes future events). Official RP action takes place in Goldwyn Village,
where OOC chat and play are not allowed. Roleplaying requires a lot more reading and
thinking than Persona Play. In RP we agree to use the Rule of Cool1 instead of the Consent
Rule.
Furcadia defaults to Persona Play on the Main maps (communal "public-like"
areas). We follow the Consent Rule here:
If somebody says or poses something implying your cooperation, you can act like it
didn't even happen.
