Georgie asked :
my rabbit eats its own droppings. what should i do about it, and should i take her to a vet?
Georgie replied :
This is pefectly normal. Rabbits eat their own droppings to help absorb some of the nutrients, especially vitamin B, that they couldnt digest the first time round. She doesn't need to go to the vet, she's just doing what rabbits do

What is CHERRY EYE and should it be surgically removed? My dog is 12 - 14 years old. My groomer noticed this, How is it caused and is there any alternative to surgery in such an old dog?
Lou Replied :
Cherry eye is basically where the harderian (tear glad) moves out of position. and i believe such a procudure to remove this is to risky for a dog of this age Consult your vet as this could be come irritant for your dog.

My dog scratches at my wood furniture. Ive tried clipping his claws and that doesnt work. Now i am having to lock him in a room while i am at work all day. What should i do?

maybe coat the furniture you dont want them to chew or claw with bitter apple or clove oil, puts them off and they wont like the foul taste that they get left with on their mouth and paws. The problem tho is proberbly caused by borebom. you could always try investing in one of these treat dispencer toys that are on the market now. they gradually release a piece of food now and then (though this will dependon weither your dog is food orientated).
