Just in case you are wondering who we are and what we do, here's just a little bit about each of us.

Georgie
Georgie grew up with animals, as pets and in the wild, and was one of those children who was always bringing toads, lizards and baby birds into the house.
She has a National Diploma in Applied Science (Animal Management) and a Certificate of Competancy in the Safe Use of Veterinary Medicines.
She is currently working with rescue horses with behavioural problems, and has worked in a zoo, a health food shop, a dog grooming parlour, a riding school, with the cats protection league and in a british stately home.
Her main area of interest is exotic animals and 'small-furry' pets.
Georgie keeps a variety of animals
including her favourites, the rabbits and a great little cat (named pickle)
she's scared of turkeys and is allergic to shrimps
Lou
Lou, as with Georgie has grown up with animals, She has been breeding cage and aviary birds and rabbits for years. Her area of interest is mainly small cage and aviary birds and dogs.
She went to college with Georgie, has the same qualifications... (NDAS and Vet Med)
Lou works in a boarding kennels that take in not only your average pet pooch but now are willing to take in a few more problematic dogs.
She also cares for the 'Jonola' Irish Red Setters, including the Cruft's Best of Breed champion.
Her ideal job would be as a dog trainer, working with 'difficult dogs'.
In the past she has worked as a vet nurse, in a charity shop, in a pet shop, and as a assistant to the local dog warden.
Lou keeps and breeds a variety of cage and aviary birds, including :- zebra finches, japenese and chinese painted quail, budgies, cockatiels, also she has many rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, and a labrador (named jovi)
So...

Since they have been at college, Georgie and Lou have worked as a team, discussed most of their animal problems with each other and have worked through them.
When they know that their general care, knowledge and animal first aid is not enough, they contact the vet.
They have known each other years now... stuck together for this time even though they are 60ish miles apart. Best of mates they use their togetherness to work as a team and hopefully produce a worthwhile website for you to learn from and maybe even enjoy.
