I go to Brookhaven college and will be transfering to the University of North Texas this comming Spring. For now, my major is technically undecided, however I plan to get my bachelors degree in elementary education and hope to continue and get my masters in special education.*I love working with kids for if you can't tell) Besides working with kids, I also love swimming, shooting pool, learning sign language, playing the piano, flute, volleyball, tennis, racketball, foosball, messing around with my website and trying to learn htm along with just hanging out with my wonderful friends.
ok...nuff bout all that..now for the important stuff
Having grown up in a wonderful Christian family which God so graciously provided for me, I became a Christian when I was seven years old. I believe that God sent His son Jesus to earth as an atonement or living sacrifice for our sins so that we may have eternal life. This gift of eternal life is for everyone, for John 3:16 says "For God so love the world that he gave His one and only Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." ALl we have to do is believe that God sent His son to die for us and believe that He was raised from the dead, then we will be saved. If you have any questions about any of this please feel free to ask me for I am more than willing to share this with you. (you can reach me via aim on funnymonkey83 or email at [email protected])
Alright, so I didn't think I had this much to say...and just think-this is the shortened version ;) well, considering today is Thanksgiving I might as well talk a little about what I am thankful for. I am extremely thankful for the wonderful, loving, Chrisitan family God has given to me. I couldn't have asked for a better family. Though sometimes my parents can seem strict, I know everything they do is because they love me and I'm very thankful for that. I'm also very thankful for my sister Laura. surprisingly, we get along very well. She is my best friend and though she can be a little over protective of me sometimes, I love her. I am also very thankful for each and every one of my friends. I went through a period in time when I felt I didnt have very many friends and then God placed me at Trinity Bible church and Common Ground where I found tons of wonderful, strong Chrisitian friends who are always there to encourage me and help me in my walk with Christ....they're also great for some laughs. I've also been very blessed with the opportunity to teach 4th and 5th grade sunday school at Trinity alongside one of my best friends Mary. This has been one of the greatest experiences ever. Lastly, I am very very grateful to God for Jason and Erin Bowman (our college pastor and his wife). Without them...there probably wouldn't even be a college group..and if there was..it wouldn't be anything like it is today.
Well there's a lot more I could tell aboutmyself, but considering that could take awhile...I think that can wait till some other time.
