| One of the best music groups of the 90's! They hold a 'best dance act award' and their Cds live in my sound system! The man who kicked it all off in the early 90's was Liam Howlett who wrote, produced, engineered and recorded all at EARTHBOUND STUDIOS. XL recordings helped to make Liams tallents known to the world. In 1990 all of the original four members met at a rave called 'The Barn', Where Liam was DJ-ing at the time. this was when they noticed that they all had simular tastes in music and that they could make something of it. The four got together a few days after the night at 'The Barn' and decided to have a go at producing their own single. It took the group a while to get things on the road due to them trying new things and altering them all the time to improve what they were doing. Eventually their first single was produced on vinyl by XL Recordings, but only a limited number were made. The vinyl contains What Evil Lurks, We Gonna Rock, Android and Everybody in the place. The group then took off from here (1990) and are still producing songs to todays date! |
