So, you want to know about the band. I don't know why, but you do. I guess I will try to explain to all of you information seekers how all the shit went down.

I had been friends with Capn' Matt for years, but just recently found that, well, the Capn' plays bass, and he plays like a champ. We couldn't let all of our combined talent go to waste, could we?? (That was a joke, if you didn't laugh) We jammed a few times, and decided to find us a drummer. In stepped Nigel, our very own beat kickin', always hard hittin', never set trippin', Jamaican connection. Nigel and I had met through friends a few months before, and had played in a small house band that only made it out of the house once. But Nigel had the spirit, and things had always clicked, so he was in.

A few weeks later, another old friend, Jason, or J-One, as we like to call him, came over to jam with us. Once again, shit just clicked. With skills on guitar that would make your momma scream, "Its so hard!", and vocals that could spread the word of the Top 40 Crew, Jason was an instant member. We were on now, complete, and ready to kick some jams for the public.

Top 40 took a little hiatus at this point, unsure of what the future may bring. Things were changing, and Top 40 knew it. Well, in walked Andy-Bob, our new beat-master, who kept us kicking for a few months. But, drummers are busy people, and things sometimes come up. Regretfully, a few months later marked the end of the "Andy-Bob Sessions", as we like to call them.

But Wait, There's more......

Andy-Bob may be back in the game, for a new demo from Top 40's vault of rhymes. This is not a certain, but is a great possibility. Stay tuned....

This is the basic story. Or lie. You be the judge. I know, and the rest of the band knows, but you may never know, partly because we may change the story all the time, and partly because I like to keep people guessin'. So, if you don't like this story, make one up yourself. Spread rumors, tell lies, exaggerate anything you hear. We love that kind of shit. Pretty sweet, huh?

Keep dubbin',

Joe
