Two Brothers

By superninja

Two brothers:

One dark,

The other light.

Both entrenched in their sights

One hopes for peace above all else;

The other waits for mankind's worst.

The first is an eagle, soaring above;

The other a raven, scavenging below.

These two brothers,

Both searching for an answer:

One finds hope,

The other disaster.

Longing for a time,

When things were more simple.

But these two brothers are tied

At the ankle.

Two brothers,

So different

Yet so connected.

Fates intertwined,

And still so separate.
