Chapter 2
"Mally, I really don't want to wear this."  Zac complained stepping into the driver's side of his truck.  Mallory slid in next to him.
"Zachy, for me."  She whined putting her arms around him.  They drove down the street toward the party when Zac flipped on the radio.  He began pounding the beat of the music onto the steering wheel and singing along loudly.
"Born to be WIIII-ILD!"  He continued singing, the drivers around him now staring at him.
"Zac honey, everyone is staring at you."  Mallory begged him to stop his loud singing.
"Babe, they aren't staring at me...they're staring at the hot chick in the seat next to me!"  He exclaimed.  Mallory leaned over him and rolled up his window.
"Keep singing, I think it's sexy."  Mallory giggled scooting closer to him.  When they finally rolled up to the house, it was dark outside and cars had filled the streets surrounding the eerie house.  Zac and Mallory got out of the car and were greeted by Taylor and Tiffany.
"Wow!  Sexy costume!"  Taylor exclaimed jumping from his raised bronco.
"Thanks!"  Mallory said twirling around in an attempt to model for her friends.
"Not you.  I was talking about your boyfriend:  nice pants Zac!  But now that you mention it you do look pretty good in that Mal."  Taylor could hardly contain his laughter.
"Jamie?  What are you guys supposed to be?"  Tiffany asked grabbing a lock of long blonde hair from Jamie's wig.
"I'm Nicole Kidman, and Cooper is Tom Cruise," She explained proudly.
"But they got a divorce!"  Zac laughed.
"Shut up cheerleader!"  Cooper defended his costume.  The three couples made their way into the thriving party.
"Hey Mal!  Hey Zac!"  A few people yelled over the blaring hip-hop music on the dance floor.  Zac and Mallory began dancing when Taylor approached them.
"Dude!  I don't know if I can stand it in here anymore.  This place is totally creepy."  He shouted over the music before taking a drink from the brown bottle in his hand.  Mallory grabbed the bottle from his, took and long drink and handed it back to him.
"They're all just rumors Tay...not real."  She said grabbing Zac's hand and pulling him back towards her.
"Mal, this is why I didn't want to come as the Saturday Night Live Spartan Cheerleaders!"  Zac said pointing over the two guys who were making fun of his white cheer pants.
"Come on, Mal will make it all better!"  Mallory smiled leading him toward the winding staircase.  The couple trotted up the stairs together and began inspecting each room.  When they found one to their liking Zac threw open the door and quickly lifted Mallory up off her feet.
"Ah, it's just like it's our honeymoon or something!"  She said sweetly after being layed down across the bed.
"Yeah sure."  Zac mumbled throwing her cheer skirt across the room.

"Tiff, we can't just leave them here.  He
is my brother.  Everyone is leaving, and you've heard all the stories about this place!"  Taylor's eyes grew larger with fear.
"Ugh!  Fine...go find them I'll wait in the car."  Tiffany whined sitting back down in the passenger seat of Taylor's truck and pulling out her makeup bag.  Taylor wrapped his letterman jacket tightly around his arms and slowly ventured up the long tree covered path.  He entered through the dark stained-glass door and examined the empty parlor.  Taylor ran his hand through his blonde coif and shoved his hands deep into his coat pockets.
