Loco Service Area
Fundy Northern First Modules
The locomotive servicing area next to the 13 stall roundhouse can accommodate both diesel and steam engines.   The sanding tower on the left was made from half of an old boxcar, with the tower from a Pola plastic kit.     Behind the small diesel is an oil spout.   The oil tank was made from an old tank car and strip wood.  The structure to the right of the oil tank is a water column for steam engines.   Barely visible behind the oil tank is a small portable conveyor to load coal into steam engine tenders.

The small diesel is a kitbash of an old  Penn Line shell that I shortened, detailed  and added a PFM "SPUD" power truck.

The CN double ended snowplow was scratchbuilt.   It was featured as one of the last "Model of the Month" models in the August 1999 Model Railroader magazine.
