The Lighthouse
Fundy Northern Lomax Lumber Modules
Fundy Northern Lomax Lumber Modules
This typical Canadian East Coast lighthouse marks the far right side of the Lomax Lumber modules, and guides the fishermen into the nearby harbor.

The model was scratchbuilt as a separate model before the modules were built, from actual plans of a Canadian Coast Guard lighthouse at Grand Point, on Grand Manan Island, New Brunswick.   I worked for the Coast Guard at the time and had access to original hundred year old plans.  I retired in 2001 with 35 years of service.

There is a small dwelling at the opposite side of the lighthouse, and the shed can be seen on the left side.    The light is an LED that actually flashes its red warning to mariners.
