The Enginehouse
Fundy Northern Lomax Lumber Modules
Fundy Northern Lomax Lumber Modules
The single stall Lomax Lumber engine house was scratchbuilt from scale lumber, and mostly covered with tarpaper made from typing paper painted Floquil Grimy Black.
Just outside the  engine house the mechanic is busy working on overhauling  Lomax Lumber 44 ton diesel #5.    The two motors out of this Bachmann engine were removed for another project, and a small Evergreen Hills diesel power plant was installed in one end.   With suitable wiring and plumbing, it looks like it was made specially for this model.
The scene in the evening where everything appears to be quiet.
