When thy has a son, thy has so many childs that the street fills
and the square and the bridge
and the market and the church
and it is our any child when he crosses the street and the car kicks him
and when he fuddles on the balcony
and when he comes next to the pool
and when a child shouts, we dont know
if ours is the scream or the child
and if he bloods and suffers,
for a moment we cannot distinguish
if the cry is his or if the blood is ours.

And when thy has two sons
thy has all the children of the earth
the millions of childs on whom the lands cry
those that escaped from Herodes to fall in Hiroshima
Half opened their eyes, as the childs of the war
because enough is to releif all the light of a child
a japanese cleft or a chinese sight.

When thy has two sons
thy has all the fear of the planet
all the fear of the enlightened men
that desire to kill the light and lower the sails
and blood the rubber balls
and plunge in tears the toy railroad.

When thy has two sons
Thy has the happyness and the scream of the world in two heads
all the anger and all the hope,
the light and the tears, to see which reaches us
if the mode the Universe cries
or the way Stars enlighten
