Eric Lunn, born 12/5/1975, has been a leader since he started community service in 1997. Eric devotes his time as a Jaycee and has earned many prestegious acknowledgements such as being granted a Stateman Award and an Ambassadorship, which is the highest award bestowed upon a Jaycee. He's a second - degree Blackbelt and teaches Karate.
August of 2006, Eric was diagnosed with melanoma, the most deadly of skin cancers. It started in his neck and by April, it has spead rapidly to 7 of his vertebrae, in this pelvis, in his sternum and worse, in his liver. His cancer has elevated to Stage 4, which means that the cancer is not curable. He has started chemotherapy in hopes that it will stop the cancer from spreading, but the odds are not in his favor.
We ask all of you for help. Eric's hospital bills are extreme and only growing with the frequent chemotherapy sessions that he has started. Also the cost of gas to travel to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester is pretty hefty.
Eric has given so much to the community and to those he loves. It's our turn to give back. Please see all of the ways that you can help! |
