The ancient woman pet her cat, Bob. She never approved of those stupid names kids give cats. Your brother is not named Snowy, or Fuzzy, and a cat is just a person in fur. Therefore, he deserves a human name. And was Bob ever a person-cat. He wasn�t one of those stupid fat-ass cats who just snooze the entire day. But he wasn�t one of those stupid cats who have to prove their own worth either. The ancient woman never woke to a dead mouse on her doorstep. And she thanked God for this. No, Bob was the perfect cat. He was scarce when she wanted him to be, and he was purring on her knees when she wanted that too. In fact, the ancient woman even thought Bob read her mind. She tried mini-experiments to test this gift, but somehow Bob managed to mess it up. Nothing persuaded the woman that Bob was just a cat. Oh no, she was convinced he read her mind and refused to take part in her experiments. He did just the opposite of what the woman asked him to do. And this, she decided was her proof that Bob was not a cat, but a human being trapped in a cat�s body.
