Invented Language

From the syllabus: "Make a vocab. list of words and create definitions for them developing your own 'language system' (i.e. using the word blush to mean apple is not acceptable, whereas inventing the word skirtle to decribe 'the peculiar stifled stride resulting from an overly tight skirt' might be. Then write a short paragraph using the vocab words." I detested this assignment. So totally not up my alley.
Two brown haired sofairties laiccuhped loudly as their penkeygin fell to the ground. It was not a particularly windy day, but these two were napoleoned to get that penkeygin into the air. Their lecunva, a lilyacked woman, was sitting by the edge of the golden mud, watching her sofairties with a smile on her face. Ahh! a gust of rebutwlba swept by, and the penkeygin took to the air, as the sofairties gasped and mortilled upward.

Sofairties- children. From soft and fairy. Suggests the soft skin children have, and their bewitching nature.

Laiccuhped- giggled. From laugh and hiccup. A giggle sounds like an interrupted laugh.

Penkeygin- kite. From penguin and monkey. A penguin is a bird that doesnt fly, like a kite on a windless day, and a monkey has a long tail, like a kite.

Napoleoned- determined, like Napoleon himself.

Lecunva- mother. From Lucina and Venus, Roman Goddesses of childbirth and love, respectively.

Lilyacked- a certain type of fair skin, where the skin is so thin it appears to have a purple/blue tinge to it. From lily and lilac.

Golden mud- a type of pond that contains goldfish and a muddy bottom.

Ahh!- suddenly, from the sound someone makes when taken by surprise.

Rebutwlba- wind. From bubbling and water. Air is evaporated water, and becomes evaporated by heat.

Mortilled- stared. From mortuus, latin for dead, and still, because the dead stare forward completely still.
