| This town was definitly one of my favorites in Italy. It was an amazing journey to look at my families history. I got to see the house my great-great-grandmother grew up in. It's pretty amazing to see where your family comes from. Noah claims that after visiting Montenero that it was probably the happiest I was the whole trip. Montenero is a small town in the province of Abruzzo (East of Lazio, where Rome is, and South of of Umbria where Perugia is). The town was so small we had to stay in the neighboring town of Castel Di Sangro and take a taxi cab to Montenero. It was a pretty amazing place and worth all the traveling. After Montenero we returned to Perugia. Shortly thereafter Noah, Dwayne and I took a trip to the Island of Elba. |

| Here I am standing with my tour guides, Carlo and Julie Bonaminio. They were great to have to show me around town. It turns out Carlo and I are distant relatives, or as he put, "You and I share similar DNA. | Return to Italia Return to Sharlot's World |
