| Florence | Our first city we traveled to outside of Perugia was Florence. It was pretty amazing too. You can't travel all the way to Florence and not go see all the amazing art work that resides there. We went to L'Academia where the David is kept (wow!) and the following day we went to The Uffitzi which is where pretty much everything else is. I had a great time here. One of the best parts about Florence is this is where Noah and I really hit it off. He was a great friend to me through out the trip and an awesome travel buddy. The night we met we ended up walking all over the city of Florence that night. We had walked for over and hour and by the time we looked at a map we realized we had walked across the entire city! It was a great way to see all the sites. Much better than a tour... Also while in Florence I climbed to the top of the Duomo, the famous domed cathedral that is in practically every picture of Florence. Needless to say, there are a lot of stairs in that building (apprently elevators had yet to be invented!)! I definitly went and had some hard earned gellatto after that climb! |

| This is a carousel I stopped by while walking through Florence. It has turned out to be one of my favorite shots I took the whole trip. | ||||||||||||||||||
