Quicksheet for PalmPilot version

Instructions for Use-

Quicksheet is a neat spreadsheet for the PalmPilot that integrates well with Excel. To use FTFB SDS on Quicksheet, you can simply open the spreadsheet in excel, Choose Save from the Quicksheet Menu, then Hotsync. However, Quicksheet is not really all that quick - and dealing with a 3-page workbook can be slow. For this reason I have included the individual design pages. Hotsync them into Quicksheet instead of the Master sheet. Trust me, you will thank me for it.

Another very important point, especially for the 'Design by Mass' sheet - Turn off the Auto Recalc (File/Properties). Enter the values you want and then manually recalc ONCE.

ECO-HACK

There is a solution to help with the speed of Quicksheet - it is Eco-Hack, by Peter Strobel. While designed to slow down the system clock on the PalmPilot (thereby saving batteries) it has a hidden ability to over-clock your Pilot, from the original 16 MHz to 19-23 MHz depending on your Pilot. Note that this is done entirely in software and can be easily uninstalled if if causes any problems (it's never caused any problems for me.)

You can get Eco-Hack at http://www.pilotgear.com or at Peter's home page http://home.t-online.de/home/PSPilot
