| The entire music world is mourning the death of Johnny Ramone, the co-founder of the band that brought punk rock into the forfront. born John Cummings in 1948, Johnny died on September 15 at 3:03 in his home after a 5 year struggle with prostate cancer. friends and family gathered together at his home to comfort his wife Linda and his mother Estelle. With Johnnys death, drummer Tommy Ramone is now the only surviving member of the original line up for the band. |

| The Ramones Musical, "Gabba Gabba Hey", has had a succesful show case run in Perth, Australia. directed by New York based Andy Goldberg and coriagraphed by Paul Macurio, the show features 7 actors, three band members ( including former Clash guitarist Nik Shepherd), the show is a tribute to the spirit of the Ramones.
