| Trancers a.k.a. Future Cop Jack Deth is back... and he's never even been here before. A science fiction fantasy adventure set in the year 2247 and the present day, "Trancers" stars TIM THOMERSON as Jack Deth, defender of justice and Trancer-hunter extraordinaire. Deth's mission in life is to hunt down the members of a psychic cult of zombie-like creatures called Trancers. Angel City is what's left of Los Angeles, the 23rd century home of Jack Deth and Martin Whistler, leader of the Trancers. The inhabitants are being terrorized by Trancers and its ruling council wants to see Whistler dead. When the evil Whistler skips town - and time, with the aid of a time-travel serum - and ends up in Los Angeles in 1985 with a plot to kill the ancestors of the council members, Jack Deth moves into action. Transported to 1985, Deth hooks up with the stunning and strong-willed Lenna (Helen Hunt). Together they track down Whistler through Skid Row, Chinatown and the neon-lit back streets of Los Angeles, all the while fending off the attacks of Whistler's newest "followers". But, Trancers aren't Jack Deth's biggest problem, because his clever foe has uncovered the key to humankind's darkest powers, and he's getting ready to use it.
