| Shrunken Heads They're Superheros From Their Heads... To Their Neck. Three Kids Who Really Stick Their Necks Out To Do The Right Thing! Inspired by their favorite comic book heroes, young Tommy and his pals take it upon themselves to clean up their menacing neighborhood by busting the local street punks. But the three youths run into big trouble for all their good intentions - big trouble in the form of Big Mo (Meg Foster in a campy, cigar chomping, not-to-be-missed performance), the local crime boss and all around bully. Bully indeed! Mo wastes no time in wasting the trio of irritating do-gooders. But hold on! All is not lost - just smaller. To the rescue comes Mr. Sumatra, a retired (but still practicing) voodoo specialist who revives the three boys with a healthy dose of mumbo-jumbo. Empowered beyond their wildest dreams, the shrunken trio "head on out" to take on Big Mo and her boys in a revved up action sequence featuring state-of-the-art special effects! | Shrunken Heads Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Main Title by DANNY ELFMAN Score Composed by RICHARD BAND Liner Notes "Shrunken Heads" is a fun, quirky little brew of a movie that liberally mixes several genres. Much of it was shot specifically to be music driven. Music is certainly the final piece of energy that breathes life into any film. So it was a pleasure to hook up with an artist having the creative chops and experience of Richard Band. Richard is the consummate film composer. A veteran pro guitarist, he has amazingly scored over fifty films in the past sixteen years. Richard Band's compositions have been vinylized by numerous top orchestras, including the Londo Symphony, the Royal Philharmonic, and the Rome Philharmonic. Richard's score for "Shrunken Heads" is a playful mixture of electronics and live orchestra (one player beging yours truly on percussion). When I first heard Richard's love theme and felt a surge of emotion, I knew that we had chosen the right composer. With a little family collaboration from brother Danny (Elfman) adding a title theme, Richard Band has created a sweet and rollicking music track - be it Booger Martin's first zombie belch or Tommy and Sally's poignant and armless last embrace.
