Liner Notes

From the director (Stuart Gordon), star (Jeffrey Combs) and composer (Rich Band) of
RE-ANIMATOR comes this brand new Full Moon horror film.

When the old Italian Duchess Orsini dies she leaves her American nephew John Reilly a most unusual legacy: an ancient castle in Italy.  Upon arrival the Reilly family discovers more.  Blind daughter Rebecca hears strange noises.  Next a string of unexplainable events.  And there's that living presence hidden amongst the long and dark corridors.  A freak of human nature obsessed with Rebecca.  A gruesome monster willing to do anything to anyone just to get her.

With the science fiction, fantasy, and horror genre a specialty for composer Richard Band this new pictures was assured a score appropriate in atmosphere and thrills.  Armed with an orchestra of brass, percussion, strings and electronics, he created a score that ranges from demented episodes with a string quartet to jagged outburst of violence with the full ensemble.

Will John be able to save his family from being ripped apart?  Just listen to Richard Band's musical devices.  As his strings poke about, as his trombones jab in clusters, listeners will find it's going to be a difficult task.
