| Sci-Fi Movie Machine A Message from Charles Band Hello, and thanks for purchasing Sci-Fi Movie Machine CD-ROM. The idea for Sci-Fi Movie Machine came from my involvement in feature filmmaking. For the past 20 years, I've written, directed, and produced some of Hollywoods best-known horror and fantasy motion pictures, such as GHOULIES, RE-ANIMATOR, TRANCERS, and the classic PUPPET MASTER series. With the growing "digitzation" of the entertainment industry, I wanted to find a way to bring the excitement, creativity and fun of filmmaking to everyone at home with a computer. Many of you have told me that you'd love to be involved with our films; and with our Cinemaker Sci-Fi Movie Machine, you can. We've created a game that allows YOU to be the director, by selecting sequences from hundreds of film clips, and then assembling them in an infinite variety of ways to suit your own whims and talents.
