| Seedpeople Collector's Series 31 Terror is growing in Comet Valley, an unspeakable force having taken root in this secluded farming community. One by one, people's souls are being turned into space-born plants, their driving desire to spread the roots that will choke the human race. Only a half-mad scientist and a suspicious girl really see what's going on in the fields at night: the aliens and their slaves are hatching the pods that will become the Earth's dominant life forms. While the few remaining townspeople find a weapon in fluorescent light, not even their eforts can stop the Seedpeople from digesting their victims bodies. Now only a handful of survivors can stop the plants from fulfilling their horrifying destiny. Sailor Collector's Series 32 Height: 1' Weight: 3 Ounces, air sacs compose most of Sailor's body Cruising Speed: 20 mph, 40 when going in for the kill. Gliding about Comet Valey on chorophyll wings, Sailor is the advance scout for the Seedpeople's invasion force. Guided by the plant's hive mind, Sailor uses its eyes like a terran housefly, able to look at its surroundings from all directions at once. Emitting a nerve-shattering chirp as a warning, Sailor can also tune its hundreds of sonar-sensitive "ears" to radio bands, learning of the townspeoples' plans as its fangs silence anyone foolish enough to approach the spore nest. Tumbler Collector Series 33 Height: 4' when rolling, 8' when standing Weight: 23 pounds Speed: 30 mph, 60 when really angry. Earth plants may launch their children in hardened spores, but none can travel with as much speed or viciousness as the alien Tumbler. Rolling himself into a thorny ball, the seed creature jets through the dirt with enough concussive force to knock over a car or crash through a building. When its destination is reached, Tumbler instantly unfurls himself into a crazed monster, ready to grab with his vine-hands and dismember within seconds. Tumbler's sonar branches direct him, their quills sending out a pheromone that bends surrounding plants to its evil will. Shooter Collector's Series 34 Height: 5' Weight: A leaf-dragging 80 pounds Speed: slightly faster than a tortoise's. Though he can only hop in plant form, Shooter possesses the mastery of shape changing. Using his spiked tendrils to enter human brains and absorb their psyches, Shooter adds each stolen personality to the Seedpeople's hive intelligence, bending the townspeople's skills to their invasion plans. When Shooter drinks too deeply of the human soul, his victim is forever turned into another identity for Shooter. The flesh dissolves into plant acid as the cunning alien preys on the person's loved ones. Shooter is the controlling force behind the Seedpeople, his bulky form always protected by them whilecommands of conquest are issued. Doc Roller Collector's Series 35 Height: 6'2" Weight: 153 pounds, and getting thinner Favorite Drink: A Grasshopper, but anything will do. Suspended Degrees: 15, including a P.H.D. in cosmology that was revoked when Roller insisted alien plants would invade the Earth throuh Green Giant products. Once a Nobel Laureate, Horace Roller quickly discovered that drinking and the belief in alien life forms didn't mix. Braned a "crackpot" and exiled by the scientific community, Roller pursued the astronomical signs to Comet Vally, where the sight of a centuries-old meteor collision was still sending radio signals to an unknown galaxy. Noticing that the plants surrounding the crater had grwon into mutant hybrids of Earth flore, the doctor picked a few specimens for study. But his drunken carelessness made the experiment grow out of control, hatching the seed monsters that had been sent to conquer the Earth. Driven insane by guilt and teh desire to prove his theories, Roller runs about Comet Valley as he tries to recapture the Seedpeople.
