Profile - Professor Xavier

ORIGIN : Charles Xavier's mental powers began to emerge during his early teens, an unfortunate side-effect of his emerging abilities was that he completely lost his hair. While attending graduate school Xavier met, and fell in love with, Moira McTaggart. When Moira broke off their engagement, Xavier began a journey around the world. In egypt, he encountered a mutant criminal called Amahl Farouk. It was a as a result of this meeting that Charles dedicated his life to his dream : that mutants and humans could peacefully co-exist. Later on, while in Isreal, he met and befriended Eric Lensher who would one day become Magneto. In Tibet, during the last days of his journey, he discovered and stopped a plot to take over the world by an alien named Lucifer. In retaliation Lucifer dropped a massive stone block onto Xavier's legs Crippling them. Xavier survived however and decided that if he could not battle mutant criminals himself, he would train others like him to instead. Thus he founded the X-men, and the Xavier Institute for Gifted Children as a front.

REAL NAME : Charles Xavier

OCCUPATION : Teacher, Genetics and Mutation authority

POWERS : Possibly the most powerful telepath alive, Xavier can read minds, project an astral form, locate people hundreds of miles away, render people unconcious merely by wishing. He can communicate mentally and even control the thoughts of others.

The Clix

ROOKIE : Fairly good attack value, decent range and Mind Control is not bad at all, however he's gonna need lots of backup. He does no damage for his whole dial, and he moves REAL slow. So if someone DOES get to him, he's in big, big trouble. However as soon as he's next to Wolverine or Cyclops, not onlyare they a little more trouble for the enemy, but they can both benefit from Xavier's Defend skill for a little added protection. Xavier has led the X-Men for years, as well as the New Mutants and Generation X, this is represented in a number of clicks with Leadership.

EXPERIENCED : Full dial of Leadership is MASSIVELY useful, in those final turns an extra guy attacking is ALL important. Aside from this Expereienced Xavier's attack starts at 10, and drops slower, as does his defense. If you have an extra 8 points he's well worth it, what else you gonna get with 8 points??? a Thug?

VETERAN : Extra Defend, and an extra click of 16 defense to go along with it. A couple of clicks of incapacitate late on give him a small chance of being some use in a fight. Most of what you're paying for in the Veteran version though is an extra click of health and a starting attack of 11, and a range of 10. Excellent Mind-Control piece.

UNIQUE : After falling in love with Lillandra, an alien princess from the Shi-Ar galaxy, Xavier ended up in danger of dying. He left for many months with Lillandra, leaving Magneto of all people to lead the X-Men. When he returned he bought back a snazzy yellow hoverchair. Using alien technology the hoverchair floats slightly above ground and gives Xavier more spped and manouvreability. Xavier has this chair in the Unique version. He sacrifices 2 range and his incapacitate clicks, for decent speed, 6 only dropping to 5, and a capability to do 1 damage on all his clicks. Not as specific to his Mind Control abilities, this version of Xavier is more than capable of a little damage.
