Origin : Born in Europe, Nightcrawler is the son of The X-men's enemy Mystique. To save herself from villagers terrified of mutants, Mystique shape-shifted into one of the villagers and threw her baby into a waterfall. Somehow, Kurt managed to survive and was found by a gypsy named Margali Szardos who raised him as a member of their travelling circus. Kurt accidentally killed his step-brother during a fight that started because his brother had gone insane. Yet again, Kurt found himself at the hands of an angry mob. He was saved by Charles Xavier and became a member of the X-Men.
Real Name : Kurt Wagner (Adopted name)
Occupation : Former acrobat.
Powers : Superhuman athletic abilities, prehensile tail. However Nightcrawlers main power is his ability to teleport. He usually prefers to see where he is going, so line-of-sight teleportation is his preference, however, when necessary he can teleport almost anywhere. After being with the X-Men and training with them, he has got to the point where he can teleport up to 5 KM in one go. When Nightcrawler teleports he displaces an amount of air equal to the size of his own body, creating the distinctive 'Bamf' sound. |

Unique : Nightcrawler has a fairly deep dial so he can take a fair amount of abuse before KO. With Supersenses and Hypersonic Speed to represent his teleportation powers. He can run in, hit an opponent,, and run away all in the same turn. He may also make a Hypersonic Speed attack, which represents him teleporting around his opponent, hitting as he goes. After he loses Hypersonic Speed he gains Phasing, for a more limited use of his teleporting powers. All in all Nightcrawler is one of the most powerful X-Men clix. |
