Profile - Medusa
The Character
Origin : As an Inhuman, Medusa was exposed to the Terrigen Mists as an infant. This mist has the effect of giving superhuman powers to the Inhumans.  Medusa gained the ability to control her hair as if it was many extra limbs.  Medusa fell in love with Black Bolt, the heir to the Inhuman throne.  During a time while she left the Inhuman city of Attilan, Medusa got amnesia in an air-crash.  Wandering Europe she was taken in by The Wizard, and reluctantly joined his team, the Frightful Four.  After the Fantastic Four met and defeated the Frightful Four, they struck a freindship with Medusa and her people the Inhumans.  Medusa joined the Fantastic four for a short while in Sue Storms place.  Recently Medusa has Married Black Bolt and Rules Attilan at his side.

Real Name :
Medusalith Amaquelin

Occupation : Queen of the Inhumans, and Royal Interpreter.

Powers :  As an Inhuman Medusa is stronger, faster and more intellegent than a human of her age, height and weight.  She also possesses very long hair, almost 6 feet of hair, which is stronger than Iron wire of the same thickness.  It can stretch to almost twice it's original size, and is under Medusa's full control.   She is capable of lifting more than 1 and a half tonnes using her hair alone.
The Clix
Unique : Instead of using the experienced Invisible Girl in a 300 point Fantastic Four team, you could swap her for Medusa.  Whereas the Invisible Girl is a very Defensive piece, Medusa is a far more upfront character.  With Incapacitate and a range of 2, she needs to be fairly close, however with 2 attacks, she can incapacitate 2 foes at once.  She also has Plasticity, Flurry and Energy Shield. If you favor an all out attack strategy, Medusa could be a good alternative to the Invisible Girl.  In a non Fantastic Four team, Medusa's skills combined with her 57 point cost make her a good choice as a backup combat figure.
