| Origin : Bullied as a child becase of his weight, Wilson Fisk, to protect himself, trained himself in various forms of combat and bodybuilding. Realising he was now far stronger than those who had once intimidated him, he used this to organize them into a gang, and began his career in crime. Eventually coming to the attention of Don Rigoletto, a major New York crime boss, Wilson became Rigoletto's right hand man and bodyguard. However when a fued arose inside the gang, Fisk used the opportunity to kill his boss and take control of his criminal empire. Real name : Wilson Fisk Occupation : Crime Lord, Businessman Powers : While Kingpin's main strength is his mind. (His hideouts are usually defended by Robots or other sophisticated techniques.) He is also happy to use the service of others, he ALWAYS expects to be betrayed however, so he always has a counter-plan in place. In the past he has hired Smythe, Tombstone, The Hobgoblin, all for his own dark purposes. When it comes to a fight though, as many heroes have discovered too late, Kingpin has enormous levels of strength. While not entering the 'Superhuman' category, Kingpin is easily capable of crushing people and taking the fight to opponents seemingly stronger. He also has a cane which is capable of firing lasers and a potent sleeping gas. |

| Rookie : A young Kingpin. A born leader the Kingpin gets a good few clicks of leadership. Especially useful if you like to bolster your forces with a couple of 'goons'. For 24 points Kingpin is possibly the best leadership piece you could ask for. If kept back for most of the game, maybe protected by a Henchman or Thug, Kingpin is strong enough to leap into the fray at the end of the battle and mop up a few stragglers. Experienced : Considerably better than the rookie version, and for only 5 points more! More toughness, more Leadership and more clicks of life. Unless you can only afford the Rookie then The Experienced version of the Kingpin is possibly a better use of points. Veteran : The veteran Kingpin is almost twice as expensive as his Rookie counterpart. 6 clicks of Leadership and 7 clicks of life mean that even without his initial clicks of Toughness means he's a tricky foe. With his Sinister Syndicate association, he can stand next to weaker comrades so they can use his 8 attack value. Also this team ability makes Kingpin an excelent support peice for the Veteran bullseye (who only does 1 damage in hand-to-hand combat), because Kingpin gets to use Bullseye's incredible ttack of 11. |
