| For anything hard to get on video at unbeatable prices, you really can't do much better than Videoscreams. You won't find rare stuff like the directors cut of 1990: The Bronx Warriors, Turkish Star Wars, or Clones of Bruce Lee anywhere else! At least not this cheap , and reliable. They also upgrade your copy for free if they aquire a better print. You can't really top that. |
| Every self respecting cult film fan should check out at least one film in the troma library, because they are one of the last remaining independant studios in the U.S.A. When you buy a troma video or dvd , you can sleep soundly, knowing the money you've just spent has gone towards making another fine exploitation flick, and not towards yet another session at the hair transplant clinic for Nicholas Cage. It's a pretty great website too..... I also reccomend 'Lloyds Roids' , a collection of Lloyd Kaufmans essays. I really enjoyed his A.I. ,and Chains without Balls essays. |
| One of the best cult film sites around. Finding this site made me realise that it wasn't just myself, and my close circle of friends that love Post-nuke films. Check out Aylmers site to find out about hundreds of even more obscure films than are reviewed here, and for a second,more rational ( and maybe more sane) opinion on some of the movies I've reviewed. You'll also note that a few of the pictures, and posters on my site can be found on his site. There's a rational explanation for this........I stole them. I visit this site quite regularly, and find it very useful when I'm thinking of buying something I haven't seen. | Did you ever wonder what was going on in Ted Bundy's head when he hacked up all those co-eds? Apparently the authorities did too, so they cut open his skull, and had a good look at his brain after he rode the lightning. See death pictures of Bundy, and a lot of other unsettling scenes of death, and just plain bad taste. This site is definitely not for the faint of heart. One of the most appropriately named sites I've seen. |

You'll find sites dedicated to Horror, Exploitation, Blaxploitation, Women in Prison, Sci-fi, and even a site devoted to William Girdler, the guy who directed Grizzly. I also highly recommend the Trash Compactor message board, because it has not yet degenerated into mindless, inane, ramblings. That eventually happens to all of 'em. |

| What is the appeal of prison flicks? Perhaps we can all relate to the drudgery of feeling imprisoned. The W.I.P. genre on the other hand has a different appeal... namely shower scenes with full frontal nudity. It's a pity that real life female convicts look more like Rosie O'Donnell, but that's beside the point. This is about the best site devoted purely to jailhouse cinema. |
