Vegas 2002
Tracy and I went to Las Vegas for a week in February. Friends of ours from North Carolina, Larry and Carolee West accompanied us.

Luxor Hotel and Casino -Home base for our trip.

saw Blue Man Group
at the Luxor. WOW!!!
The Luxor Hotel, is located at one end of the Vegas strip, cluster with Mandalay Bay, New York, New York, Excalibur and The MGM Grand. Trams take you from Mandalay Bay all the way up the strip to Caesars Palace. Having seen all the other hotels and casinos, I would again choose the Luxor for quality, location and entertainment.

NY NY became a memorial after the September 11, 2001 attacks. Fire Depts. and EMS crews from around the world hung shirts and caps from their departments on the fence surrounding the scaled down version of the Statue of Liberty. There are poems, letters, missing person pictures, and thousands of T-shirts.
I was fortunate enough to have a shirt from my former department, Abercrombie Fire Dept., which I left in respect for the others we stand beside.

We also saw Michael Flatley's "Lord of the Dance" at NY NY. Very amazing. All the shows are very expensive, but well worth the money.
