| 9 Sep 08 - Warrior Hockey opened the Regular Season with a tightly played victory at Vista. The defense did not allow the Panthers to score with Jahna Jordan recording six saves and Jesalynn Norton recording four. The Warriors notched five shots, with Lauren Hughey scoring the lone goal of the contest with an assist by Kyle Little. | 12 Sep 08 - For the second straight game the Warrior defense did not allow an opponent to score. After regulation and a ten minute overtime period the Warriors and Poway Titans were locked in a scoreless tie. The game went to strokes and Poway was first to shoot but was off the mark, but Warrior Lizzy Eskue's shot also went wide. Jahna Jordan deflected the next Titan stroke and Lydia Brambila's shot missed. Jahna again came up big blocking another Titan Stroke but this time Warrior Kyle Little's shot was true giving Fallbrook the lead. Jahna stopped the final attempt by Poway and the Warriors took home the 1-0 victory. Jahna Jordan was awarded Player of the Game honors for Fallbrook. Varsity Season Record is 2-0. | 16 Sep 08 - Warrior Hockey suffered their first loss of the season at Cathedral Catholic 1-0. The Dons scored in the first half and despite the efforts of the Warriors they were unable to penetrate the Goal on the Cathedral grass field. | 18 Sep 08 - Fallbrook Hockey traveled to Westview and defeated the Wolverines 1-0 recording their third shutout of the season. The Warriors Christine Russell scored the lone goal of the match with an assist by Kyle Little. Jahna Jordan recorded eight saves and the entire Varsity was awarded Player of the Game honors. | 23 Sep 08 - Warrior Hockey recorded their sixth shutout of the season and tallied their highest goal total by knocking out the Hilltop Lancers 3-0. Lauren Hughey, Lydia Brambila, and Michelle Valencia tallied scores for Fallbrook and Kyle Little notched 2 assists. Jahna Jordan recorded three saves and Jesalynn Norton recorded two in goal to preserve the shutout. Lydia Brambila was awarded Player of the Game honors. The Warriors are now 5-2-1 on the season. | 25 Sep 08 - Warrior Hockey fell behind by two goals early in the first half to the Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns. Despite a furious attempt at a comeback in the second half and a goal by Jessica Fox, assisted by Christine Russel, the Warriors suffered their third setback of the season. In goal, Jahna Jordan recorded six saves while Jesalynn Norton recorded two. Patti Gonzalez was awarded Player of the Game honors. Fallbrook is now 5-3-1 on the season. | 20 Sep 08 - The Warriors traveled to Serra to participate in 2008 Tournament Pool Play. A 2-0 victory against Otay Ranch, a scoreless tie with La Costa Canyon, and a 1-2 loss to San Dieguito Academy earned the Warriors the second seed in their pool. Goals were tallied by Sarah Lopez, Christine Russell and Kyle Little. The Warriors will face Scripps Ranch in the championship round on 27 September. Warrior Hockey now stands at 4-2-1 on the season. | 27 Sep 08 - The Warriors traveled to Serra to participate in the 2008 Championship Bracket. Fallbrook was eliminated in the quarterfinal by eventual champion Scripps Ranch 2-1. The Warriors Goal was tallied by Jess Menard assisted by Hana Smith. In the fifth place game the Warriors avenged an earleir loss to Cathedral by defeating the Dons 2-1. Goal scorers were Sarah Lopez and Lauren Hughey assisted by Kyle Little and Galen Gomez. Kyle Little and Melissa Maultsby were named to the All-Tournament Team. | 30 Sep 08 - Warrior Hockey hosted Serra at Fallbrook and defeated the Conquistadors 3-2. Lydia Brambila notched two goals and Jessica Fox another to account for the Warriors three scores. Kyle Little accounted for 2 assists, while Michelle Valencia and Lauren Hughey also recorded assists for Fallbrook. Melissa Maultsby and Kyle Little were each awarded Player of the Game honors. Fallbrook was able to muster only two penalty corners over the course of the game. Lizzie Eskue was awarded Player of the Game honors. The Warriors are 7-6-1 overall and 0-1 in League. Despite the efforts of the Warrior defense keeping the game close and the offense's efforts to score, Fallbrook lost in a shutout for the second time this season. | 14 Oct 08 - Fallbrook Hockey scored their first Avocado League victory of the season on the road at the Three-Time defending CIF Champion La Costa Canyon 1-0. The Warrior's Christine Russell registered the lone goal of the contest off an assist from Lydia Brambila after a Penalty Corner. Fallbrook recorded their seventh shutout of the season thanks to the defense weathering seven first half penalty corners by the Mavericks and Goalkeeper Jahna Jordan knocking a second half penalty shot into the Crossbar. Christine Russell, Sarah Lopez and Lauren Hughey connected for scores while Lydia Brambila struck for her second multi-goal game with two. Fallbrook's win over the Cougars was their 2nd straight Avocado League victory and raised the Warriors season record to 9-6-1 overall and 2-1 in League. The four goals scored by the Eagles was the most allowed by the Warriors this season and the shutout was the fourth suffered this campaign. Goalkeepers Jahna Jordan and Jessalyn Norton both turned away penalty shots during the game. The loss dropped Fallbrook's record to 9-7-1 overall and 2-2 in League. | 28 Oct 08 - Fallbrook Hockey succumbed to Torrey Pines Tuesday 3-0. Goalkeeper Jessalyn Norton kept the game from getting away by stoning a penalty shot in the second half. The Falcons are unbeaten in Avocado League play and are ranked 2nd in the County by both the San Diego Union Tribune and the North County Times. The Warriors are ranked 6th in the Union Tribune rankings and 8th in the NC Times. The loss evened Fallbrook's Avocado League record to 3-3 and 10-8-1 overall. It waas Lydia's third multi-goal game of the season and earned her Player of the Game honors. | 4 Nov 08 - Fallbrook Hockey recorded their highest goal total and notched their ninth shutout of the season in a 6-0 win over Escondido. Goalkeepers Jahna Jordan and Jessalyn Norton each recorded a scoreless half between the pipes for the Warriors. The onslaught of scoring was led by Hana Smith and Christine Russell each scoring two goals. While Lydia Brambila and Lauren Hughey recording a goal and an assist against the Cougars. Kyle Little, Lizzie Eskue and Sarah Lopez added assists. The win brought sixth- ranked Fallbrook's record to 12-8-1 overall and 5-3 in League with two games left in the season.
