Skin Cancer
What is cancer?

Cancer is the mutation of cell, caused by the rapid growth of the tumor and the cells in which they are out of control.
Causes:
1. excessive, chornic exposure to UV radiation
2. Tumor, birthmark, moles.
3. Exposure to arsenic compound, x-ray, radioactive material, such as radium.
Types of skin cancer
1. Basal cell carcinoma: most common type. Cells in the basal (top layer) are altered and mitosis malfunction. They migrate into the dermis and subcutaneous tissues, and erode normal tissues, causing erosive.

2. Squarmous cell carcinoma - begins in the stratum ( lower layer) spinosum. If untreated, the metastasis may occur, and it might be very difficult to cure.

3. Malignant melanoma - ecposure to UV radiation it the main cause of this type of cancer. It can spread rapidly, and arise from pigmented moles in normal skin or from pigment moles.
