Today the Fudo Ken Ryu karate club put on a spectacular display at the Darenth Village Fete. Thank you to all the students who turned up to support and took part in the display. It was a great turn out and an excellent display with the youth showing off their bag work and freestyle skills, the lower belts demonstrating various grapples and takedowns and the higher belts putting on a superb display of self defense.
The event also coincides with Sensei Micks birthday, so Happy Birthday Sensei! Look out for a mention of our club in the next issue of the Kent Messenger.
