Monday 8th December saw the adults 7th Kyu and above gradings at the Darenth club. The constantly improving standards really showed with both Maurice and Musa asending to a long deserved 3rd Kyu level. The strength and determination of our lower belts also shone through with both Andy and Dave giving Sensei Mick no other choice but to double grade them to 4th Kyu.
Wednesday 10th December was an infamous day for our 8th and 9th Kyus. Responding to the quality of those coming through Sensei Mick really put them through their paces with a full 7th Kyu grading, including a 10 minute fitness section. All those taking part put in excellent and determined performances even managing to make it look easy!
Special congratulations to Ian and Lee who were deservedly double graded to 6th Kyu. Very well done to Mark S., Mark F., Mick and Sam, (currently our only youth in the adult class who kept pace easily), all of whom gained their 7th Kyus.
Special mention must be made to our white belts who all, on their very first grading, showed real internal strength and determination. Holly, Kerry and Kevin all demonstrated skill and knowledge beyond their grade and were deservedly all double graded to 7th Kyu
