Chapter4: Diagon Alley

Hagrid, Ayumi, and Melissa walked down the busy streets of
Diagon Alley.
"Hey!! Watch where ya goin ya bum!" Melissa
screamed to a wizard who bumped into her.
The wizard just turned and glared at her then continued walking. Ayumi just
laughed and continued walking. After they got almost all their supplies they
stopped at Ollivanders Wand Shop.
Once in the shop a man came up to greet them "Ah Hagrid I see you brought
two more with you this time." Mr. Ollivander
said smiling
"Yeah I thought it would be easer to bring two this time." Hagrid
replied.
"So who do we start with?" said Mr. Ollivander.
"I will." Ayumi said as she stopped forward.
"Okay my dear take this wand and swing it." Ayumi did so but made a
chair fly across the room.
"Well we know that's not It." he said as he took the wand away, and
walked across the room and got another wand.
"Now try this one." He said well handing her the wand
"Okay." Ayumi said taking the wand and swinging it all of a sudden
all of the wands on the shelves trembled to the ground.
Ayumi gasped and Mr. Ollivander smiled.
"Don't worry child it happens all the time" he said as he walked over
to pile of wands and pulled one out.
"Now, try this one" he said as he thrust the wand to her.
Ayumi nodded and swung her arms all of sudden a gust of wind surrounded her
body sending her black mid back length hair wiping around her face her brown
eyes widened. Seconds later the wind stopped.
"Wow." Ayumi said.
"Is this the right wand?" she asked.
"Yes, I think it is." Mr. Ollivander said
as he smiled happily.
Now turning to Melissa he said happily,
"Now your turn my d-"
"Okay whatever just DON'T call me 'My Dear'." Melissa said
interrupting Mr. Ollivander.
"Well ah okay let's get started shall we? "He
asked happily as he handed her a wand.
"Now-""Yea, yea, yea I know what to do I saw Ayumi do it ya
know! I ain't blind! " Melissa sneered at Mr. Ollivander.
Finally taking the wand from Mr. Ollivander she swung
her hand sending Mr. Ollivander flying to the shelf
full of wands. In an instant Melissa ran by his side saying "OhmygodIdidn'tmeanforthattohappenpleasefogiveme!!"
Melissa said all in one breathe.
Mr. Ollivander smiled and said, "its okay my
dear it happens all the time"
"Oh okay well we at least I know that's not the right one." Melissa
said with a smile.
After trying five more times and destructing half the shop they found the
perfect wand finally I thought if I tried any more times I might kill the old
guy! Melissa thought.
"So where are we going next?" Ayumi asked as they walked towards a
big building.
"Gringotts" Hagrid mumbled.
Ayumi and Mel exchanged glances and shrugged.
Once inside the two girls gasped in amazement as they saw little goblins
working behind desks and some in bellhop suites guiding wizards to carts.
"Wow what a place" Mel whispered and Ayumi nodded in agreement.
When they reached the desk a goblin looked up and smiled warmly, "welcome
to Gringotts how I may help you?" he asked.
"Yes we would like to open vaults 319 and 120" Hagrid said and pulled
out two keys. (This time he was ready ^_^).
The goblin nodded and yelled "Ryan!" soon a little goblin dressed in
a bellhop suite ran up "Take them to vault 319 and 120" he ordered.
The goblin nodded and guided them towards the cart, and Hagrid silently cursed
and suddenly looked ill.
Ayumi and Mel climbed and the cart took off, the two girls were laughing and
screaming waving their arms in the air while Hagrid leaned over the edge sick.
Finally they reached the first one 120 "Ayumi this one's yours"
Hagrid said as he climbed out of the cart and opened the vault.
Ayumi gasped as she looked at the piles and piles of gold and sliver coins that
almost reached the ceiling.
Hagrid pulled out a pouch and filled it with coins and handed it to Ayumi.
"Thank you" she said and bowed. He nodded and climbed back into the
cart, and they sped off, the girls laughed once more and tried desperately to
remove the hair from their faces.
Finally it stopped again in front of vault number 319 Hagrid quickly got out
and opened the vault and grabbed the coins and put them in the pouch.
He handed them to Melissa and they zoomed off.
The last stop at Diagon Alley was the pet shop where Hagrid bought the
girls both snowy white owls.
"No Hagrid we can't take these!" both girls said in unison
"Nah!" Hagrid said while waving his hand.
"It's a gift plus ya need it for school so it can bring your mail."
"Ah, okay." they both said wondering how they possibly need an owl to
bring their mail. They accepted the owls. With that he dropped them off at
their new orphanage that they shared together.
"Oh I almost forgot here's your birthday cakes you guys." Hagrid said
while pulling out two, hard squished chocolate cakes. "Thanks." said
Ayumi and Mel as He dropped them off at their new orphanage.
That night the girls talked about themselves, and how interesting Hogwarts
might be "Hey Mel what are you naming your owl?" Ayumi asked,
"I think I'll name her Angel," she said happily and the bird hooted
in agreement and Mel laughed.
"So what are you naming yours?" "I think I'll name her White
bosom, because she reminds me of the beautiful white flowers of
The bird looked pleased both girls started laughing decided to sleep both
dreaming how their lives changed and how much they would enjoy Hogwarts.
