Chapter3: What I'm a witch!!

Ayumi woke up in the morning, feeling the familiar feeling of dread. Brushing her dark hair out of her face, she woke up to see her roommate, or worst enemy, Samantha leering over her.

"What do you want Samantha, lose your tooth brush again? I don't think it's such a good habit to lose such a valuable tool, I mean, your teeth practically scream for it. Besides, I don't think the Mistress will be pleased to hear that." Ayumi said, flicking her hair over her shoulder.
With that, she started to swing her hips and walked down the grimy, old stairs to the dirty and dusty table.

"Girls! We have a visitor!"  Mistress called. Ayumi followed the girls, until she reached the living room. The living room was the only room that was actually presentable. You could tell that it was all cheap, though.
Her jaw dropped when she saw the visitor. He looked like one of those giants you read about in stories, wild beards, beady eyes, and he was so tall, his head brushed the roof when he stood.

"Ayumi." His deep voice boomed through the now silent room. Ayumi stepped front and said, "that is me" she said in her Japanese accent. "Come with me."
"Where are we going?" she asked with interest.

"Diagon Alley," is all he said.
"What? Why?" she asked.
"Cause you're a witch," he said. Ayumi froze.
"Me a witch?" She whispered.
"Yeah right this must be some joke!" she said laughing.
"She sure acts like one." whispered Samantha.
Ayumi shot her a look that could kill anyone in an instant. Samantha shut up quickly.
"No this is not a joke" Hagrid said looking serious.
Ayumi paused and began to think.
Should I be able to trust him? He seems really serious. Oh what the heck!
"Okay lets go." said Ayumi.
"But we have to stop at New York City." he said.
"Why." she asked.
"Cause there's another witch there too."
She nodded and quickly tried to keep up with Hagrid's long strides.

They walked down the busy New York Streets until they stopped at a rugged brick building.
Hagrid pounded on the door they heard a woman scream, "One of ya brats go get that!"
"Yea, yea keep ya shirt on," said a girl with a strong
New York accent.
At that moment the girl answered the door she was darked skinned with waist length dark brown hair, which was in a ponytail, but there was something about her eyes that Ayumi could not figure out.
"Yeah what do ya want?" she asked looking up at Hagrid.
"I'm here for Melissa Williams." boomed Hagrid.
"It's Mel to you and what do ya want with me I didn't do anything I swear." she said raising her arms for protection "Yet." she added.
"Ha." Ayumi laughed and Melissa shot her a look.
"So what do ya want anyways?" she asked while leaning against the doorframe casually.
"You're a witch." Hagrid said as if it was no problem.
"What me a witch? Get outta town." she said with a smile.
"Ya joking right?" she asked uncertainly.
"That's what I thought." Ayumi said, "But I was wrong."
"Now let's go!" Hagrid sounding like he was losing his patience. "Hold on I ain't nowhere." said Melissa about to close the door. "Oh yes ya are." Hagrid said as he stuck his foot out to stop the door, and with that Hagrid picked up Melissa a put her on his shoulder.
"Now wait a minute I ain't goin’ nowhere, put me down!!" Melissa screamed while pounding his back hard as she could.
"Mrs. Smith help me!" she screamed too the mistress "Shut the door behind ya!" she only screamed back.
"Gee thanks for ya help." Melissa grumbled back. Melissa look down and said, "Ya know you could put me down it's not like I'm gonna run." she said. Hagrid put her down Melissa was about to run but Ayumi stopped her in her tracks.
"No use running I tried that earlier but he got me." Ayumi said smiling and flicking hair.

Melissa only glared at her but stopped and smiled.
"Ya know I like ya spunk I think we could be friends." Melissa said with a smile Ayumi smiled back.
"Um…sure" she said and they walked off to Diagon Alley.
