Hey so this is the week of the big concert, the main attraction being of course Proximity Se7en. Other bands playing before them are Kiros, Hathaway, and Love and Wolves. In case you don't know the information yet and are curious, it is at Delta Pentecostal Church at 6:45 on Friday night, and a $7 cover charge at the door. Also there is food (hotdogs, doughnuts, pop) and merch tables inside. It is a large night for me because part of the proceeds are going towards my trip, as well as Im going to get to show a short video and talk for like 2 or 3 minutes about what I'm doing. I am a little nervous about this, as it seems a couple guys in the band think there might not even be enough room for everyone in the Church... so if all goes as planned, there should be an awful lot of people coming. I've spoken breifly in front of the Church before, but for one thing I know most of them, and for another, there should be a lot more people coming than are in our Church... Pray for me!
My last week, I must say, has been excellent. I haven't been able to really accomplish a whole lot as far as getting closer to my mission goes, but it has been a very good week. I have my appointment for some vaccinations on thursday, so if you see me on thursday by chance,... leave my left arm alone... it will be needing rest. Pretty much right now an awful lot is counting on how this concert goes, so I'm just kind of waiting around to see what happens.
I need to call a bunch of people this week who received letters from me about the possibility of supporting me. If one of you is reading this by chance, I really need to be sure I have all those slips in by March 15. My budget is still short about $500 in monthly commitments that I'm going to be needing. If I can get that and then this concert on Friday goes as well as Im hoping, I'll be pretty much good to go. But that is still quite a lot of ground to cover, so we'll see what happens.
