So this is how it's working. I leave on British Airways, and transfer at (guess where) London. Then I get onto Ethiopian Airways and transfer in Addis Ababa. I don't know about anyone else but I've never heard of Addis Ababa. I'm just kind of excited about the fact that I get to go to a place called Addis Ababa.
Of coure the last post on here was just that I'm waiting for my budget to get done. Well it basically got finished and approved, and then I just kind of announced that hey, I'm done, and so I'm leaving now. And that actually worked out pretty well. The departure date actually came up just a little sooner than I was thinking of at that time. But whatever either way, I'm finally about to go now.
Ill probably be at YVA (Vancouver Airport) at like 5 on Thursday, May 4th, and if you are hoping to come and see me off, as a few people are planning to do that, well feel free. I would love to see anyone who is interested in coming. Other than that, that is pretty much about it. This is officially, or at least it should and had better be, the last pre-trip journal entry. How killer awesome is that!? Pretty freaking killer awesome thats how much. Anyways, enough with my excited babble. I'll post up on here again soon as I can when I'm in Africa.
