I was actually technically finished all my support raising about two weeks ago, but I also need to times that by .80 because 10% of everything goes to the PAOC and another 10% goes to tithing. So I managed to fully raise that since then as well, which was another $3000. I finally had everything done, and then I found out my budget is having some trouble getting approved. Right after that I also got an email that was saying I may need to yet raise another $6000. I responded to that basically saying, sorry, but that is not going to happen. We'll have to make due with what I've raised thus far.
So I just like an hour ago sent off an email with my new and revised budget to the PAOC, and it's going to be sent to the budget guy with a note that it needs to be approved as soon as possible. I plan to leave this month, the PAOC knows it, and I'm working with them to make sure it happens.
So what about an actual departure date you ask? I know you ask that because everyone does. Well soon as my budget is approved, I should be able to get my flight booked (hence how I would know my departure date) and then all that is left is a final PAOC meeting, the details of getting my work visa, and the last few preperation things that I may need to do before leaving to go overseas to Africa for a year.
