this show had been on my mind for some time now i have been wanting to see lamb of god since i first heard them.I went with some friends we got to the show like 30 min before the first band opened up. the first band to open was this metal band from seattle, they where ok not much crowd movement during there set. most of the hardcore kids and metal heads where out side for them so the place felt kinda empty. but right when they finished up the club was starting to get packed with more and more people coming in and waiting for unearth.
before this show i have heard very little unearth but what i heard i liked. They came out with a fury and right away the crowd opened up and there where 15 to 20 kids and 1 girl(haha) hardcore pitting. unearth took over the crowd and made every one move. they had really good and powerful breakdowns and there vocalist Trevor Phipps had tons of energy running up and down the stage shoving his mic into kids faces letting them scream along. during there set the intensity never stopped and so that led to a bunch of fights mainly a bunch of hardcore kids beating the shit out of drunk old metal heads it was kinda funny. but towards the end there's was a big fight between two girls. and it went on even after unearth finished.
next up was LAMB OF GOD when the curtains opened up the whole band was there minus the vocalist. he came stumbling out on to the stage with a beer in one hand and a cigg in the other he grabbed the mic and told every one to fuck shit up!. and the crowd did, very very very violent pits. the whole front was screaming along and the singer would let us sing and then he would walk on us and fall and say shit that nobody understood like "im not crying are u crying" or "where we come from we don't fuck around" very weird guy he spilled his beer on every one who was in front. L.O.G. definitely owned this night. the singer would occasionally ask for hardcore pits and the little dick heads would try too, but there was way to many people pitting and they would just get dropped or swung and trown in a different direction. surprisingly there where no fights during L.O.G i guess no one wanted to fuck with the big fat guys tossing every one around. lamb of god played a blistering set and left me asking for more they where great.
next was NEVERMORE i skipped nevermore and got some food with friends what can i say im not a big black metal fan or whatever u wanna call it. all in all the show was awesome.
