Does anyone remember the band Basura?
well, they decided to change their name,  vocalist, and add a second guitarist and you can really tell that Bridge isnt the same band Basura was. this is their first demo, and looks like they're off to a good start. the first song is called "Nozzle", and                what an awesome song it is, starts off with a spoken word, and follows up with buzzy guitars that just pump you up, makes a great soundtrack for a mosh (i know from expericence), this song also has some awesome well thought double-kick work, and a killer breakdown, its too bad the song has to end. the next song is infact a Basura song, the music sounds like a natural progression, along with some interesting vocals from  Vik. one I really like about this song is the harmonies between both guitars, and the bass, very lovely. track 3 is "Casilla" a slower song, it has a creepy Black Sabbath type of vibe going on, with vocals that are sung most of the time, instead of growled, which was something very rare in the bands pervious incarnations, the guitars in this song have some very intersting chord works, and some great bass fills, the lyrics for this song sound very personal. the last song is "Cookie Monster" which was a Basura Staple at any live show, what I kinda bothers me is how the old Basura songs lyrics have been changed, but this is Bridge53, a differant band all together, if you had heard "Cookie Monster" before, then you know how it sounds, this version just has differant lyrics, and are a little bit easier to understand. this is a very awesome demo from a realtivly young band, I cant wait to hear all original Bridge53 material, which is very next level from what ive heard so far, with this demo, it looks like the Bridge have a good future. the production of this demo is awesome, and you can hear everything well, nothing sounds out of place, I give this demo an 8 only cuz I would have liked to hear all new songs, but let me give you one word of advice. DONT CROSS THE BRIDGE.
