The Freedom Township Volunteer Fire Company is located in south central Pennsylvania jsut off Interstate 99 exit 23, from this single station we serve Fredom Township and a portion of Blair Township and currently operate with 6 pieces of apparatus that include: 1 engine/rescue, 2 Tanker/tenders, 1 QRS/light rescue and 1 brush/wildfire truck. Listed below are specs. and pictures of each piece of apparatus.

QRS/ Light Rescue
This unit is a 2001 Dodge Ram chassis with a utility box and has been in service with this company since '00. It features a 50 gal. water tank a 3hp pump and an air compressor system for operating air tools. Equipped with a Holmatro recue tool, small sized RAM spreader, and various supportive fire and rescue equipment as well as BLS medical equipment. This vehicle serves this company as a certified QRS response  vehicle as well as a supportive firefighting vehicle.

Pumper/Heavy Rescue
This unit is a 2004 KME chassis featuring a 6 man enclosed cab and has been in service with this company since '04. It features an 1150 gal. water tank with a 1500 GPM pump and a foam system. Equipped with 1500ft. of 5" supply line,  two cross lays, several preconnects, and a free mounted full Holmatro rescue system including airbags it serves this company as a primary fire attack vehicle as well as our primary rescue vehicle.

Pumper/tanker
This unit is a '90 AutoCar chassis featuring a 5 man enclosed cab and hs been in service with this department since 1991. This vehicle features a 2000 gal. tank with a 1500 GPM pump and an around the pump foam system. Equipped with 1500' of 5" supply hose, 2500 gal. dump tank, 2 crosslays and several preconnects it serves this company as a first attack firefighting vehicle as well as a rural water supply vehicle.
