What I Think America's Place in the World Should Be
I think that as Americans we should have a strong, healthy pride in our great nation, it's history and it's accomplishments. But we should also learn from our mistakes. Our main concern should be protecting our borders and those of our territories, which we should give the option of statehood or independence to them all. Also, if a foreign leader plans an attack on American sovereignty, we should respond with swift justice. However, this does not mean that we should be the policemen of the international community. I think we should strengthen our relationships with our allies in times of peace so that in, God forbid, times of crisis, we can depend on them and they can depend on us. Those regimes which sponser and/or support terrorist attacks against American sovereignty will be removed, one way or another, but they will be removed.
