~
An Alternative Bondage Club
with a Breakthrough Vision
The Fort Lauderdale Bondage Club, Inc. (FTLBC) is writing this as an introduction to an alternative organization being formed down here in South Florida. We are seeking members who are interested in working together to create a better unity between the Fetish Community in South Florida. The FTLBC is not saying that everything is askew in the community.  Certain events have transpired in the year and a half the FTLBC has been in existence, which has shown to us that change is warranted. The club would like to put all these events behind us; it is not productive for anyone as no one profits with all the bickering. The FTLBC wants to extend our hand in friendship and brotherhood to all of you who want to work together with us towards a better, unified South Florida Fetish Community, one which we all can be proud to be a part of.  As of this date, the FTLBC has a working relationship with South Florida clubs, in brotherhood and friendship, including the Florida Adventurer's, the Sabers, Trident International South Florida, and the Wildfire Nudist Group.  The FTLBC also has extended our hand in brotherhood and friendship to such clubs outside the South Florida Fetish Community as Club Avatar, the Los Angeles Bondage Club, the New York Bondage Club, and the New York Renegades.  It needs to be noted that the FTLBC will continue to outstretch our hand to other clubs within the fetish community who want to be connected in unity with the FTLBC in friendship and brotherhood.
The FTLBC (formed September 2001) is a social, philanthropic, and educational organization for our members to identify themselves and participate in the fetish lifestyle including bondage.  We are a male only organization with our main purpose to educate our members in a safe, sane, consensual environment.  The club is also a great way to meet others who share ideas with those of similar interests.  The FTLBC encourages our members to voice themselves, as this is a club for the members, where all voices are listened to and heard.   Every member gets something out of a club like this, as the experienced practitioner will discover new advanced refinements while the novice will learn the ropes from the ground up.  The club's motto, presently is "Learn and Grow while having Fun doing so."
The FTLBC presently meets twice a month with our first meeting on the second Tuesday, for club business and fetish demonstration. The first part of this meeting is to give those attending the most up to date information on what is happening within the club as well as what is happening within the fetish community, local as well as outside of our area. A bridge is then used between the club business part of the night and the fetish demonstration.  This time allows our members present, to introduce themselves to each other. The meeting is then turned over to the ones running the educational portion, the fetish demonstration, which can be taken from a vast array of topics and discussed in any format, deemed applicable. The main purpose here is to give those attending, an understanding and comprehension of what is being said, displayed, and discussed. Our unique approach to the fetish demonstration and/or discussion, is that they are not limited to the Dominant teaching all, but any lifestyle status, Dominant, submissive or a Versatile Switch can be the educator, moderator, and/or presenter. We encourage questions to be asked, as by taking a hands on approach to discuss differences in technique and/or views of thought, lay the foundation of learning and expanding ones skill level.  This is accomplished by allowing all that are present to increase their levels of awareness by listening, communication and actual hands on practice.  We encourage you to come to our monthly meeting to see for yourself.  All of the clubs meetings are held at Boots, a community bar, located two traffic lights west of Interstate 95 on SW 27th Avenue between Broward Boulevard and Davie Boulevard, which is on the southwest corner of SW 27th Avenue and SW 19th Street.
