| Positions Whenever you enter a live sim, you usually have two people who take charge of the sim. The Captain and First Officer of the sim are your superiors. You must obey their orders at all times. After the CO and XO, you have the senior staff. This consists of the Tactical Officer, Operations Officer, Flight Control Officer, Science Officer, Security Officer, and an Engineering Officer. This is the senior staff. They have a group of people that work for them. Actions The main purpose of the ACTION command is to show the simmers where the sim is going. Actions are done by the CO and XO of the sim. If you are not the CO or XO, then you cannot decide your own fate. Its too easy that way. Do not take charge the sim, let the CO and XO handle everything. The way actions are done are very simple. For example, if we were about to go back in time, and there was going to be a tachion pulse fired, the CO or XO would say "ACTION>Tachion pulse fires." To Perform Tasks Tasks are just another way to show what you are doing. These are different from actions. To perform a task, simply put the intended task between two :'s. For example, if I needed to run up to the bridge, I would say, ::runs up to the bridge::. |

| Personal and Duty Logs Logs are not manditory, but its something to think about if you want to get promoted. Logs show commitment to the sim. All logs must be post on the message board of this site. Personal logs consist of what happened to you personally on the ship, and your opinions on it. Duty logs consist of what happened to you on your ship. Everyone from the sim will be able to see what you wrote. |
