These are the rules and regulations of the Federation Temporal Alliance. You could say this is the Federation Temporal Alliance's Constitution. Please take a moment to look over them. If you have any questions, please email the Federation Temporal Alliance High Council.

-Section 1-
Website Rules

Website Rule #1

The name "Federation Temporal Alliance" is property of the Federation Temporal Alliance High Council. No one may use this name for any other sims of their own.

Website Rule #2

Leeching is not permitted. If you see an image on the Federation Temporal Alliance website that you like, just email the Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance and he or she will be happy to give you what you require and proper instructions on how to give credit to the author.

Website Rule #3

If you are a member of the Federation Temporal Alliance, you are not allowed to demean the name "Federation Temporal Alliance" nor any Federation Temporal Alliance Sims on your website and/or anywhere else you talk about the Federation Temporal Alliance.

Website Rule #4

If you are a memeber of the Federation Temporal Alliance, you are NOT to give out your username and password from "Section 31" to any non-members.

Website Rule #5

If you are a member of the Federation Temporal Alliance, you are NOT to give out the URL of the Federation Temporal Alliance Message Board. It is not for public use. The only public message board is the USS Audacious Boards.

Website Rule #6

As a member of the Federation Temporal Alliance, you are NOT to give out the URL of the Federation Temporal Alliance Sims room.

Website Rule #7

As a member of the Federation Temporal Alliance, you are NOT to have any guests in the Federation Temporal Alliance Sims. This rule means you are breaking Rule #6, which is not giving out the URL of the Federation Temporal Alliance Sim room.

-Section 2-
Sim Rules

Sim Rule #1

If you are a member of the Federation Temporal Alliance, remember that you represent this organization and you are to be on your best behavior in any Star Trek themed chatroom/Federation Temporal Alliance Sim. We in the Federation Temporal Alliance want every member to be kind to others.

Sim Rule #2

During any Federation Temporal Alliance Sim, whether it be an email, message board, or live chat sim, vulgur language of any kind will not be tolerated.

Sim Rule #3

Any reference made to contraband/illegal substances during any Federation Temporal Alliance Sim without it concerning the story line will not be tolerated.

Sim Rule #4

As part of the Federation Temporal Alliance, you must be kind to other members. This rule is in association with Section 2-Sim Rule #1.

Sim Rule #5

Being part of the Federation Temporal Alliance does not give you authorization to sabotage any Federation Temporal Alliance Sim.

Sim Rule #6

As a member of the Federation Temporal Alliance, you are not to enter the Federation Temporal Alliance into a sim war with another organization.

Sim Rule #7

During any Federation Temporal Alliance Sim, you are not to alter the story line without direct authorization from your sims Commanding Officer.

Sim Rule #8

Only during a Federation Temporal Alliance Sim or an official Federation Temporal Alliance meeting are you to address your superiors as "Sir"or by their respective rank.

Sim Rule #9

You are not to use any Federation Temporal Alliance member's email address to recruit them for any other sim group.

Sim Rule #10

During any Federation Temporal Alliance Sim, you are not to recruit others for any other sim(s).

Sim Rule #11

During any Federation Temporal Alliance Sim, you are not to announce any websites, Star Trek related/Non-Star Trek related without direct authorization from your ships commanding officer and without breaking Section 2-Sim Rule #9.

Sim Rule #12

Mutany without probable cause in any Federation Temporal Alliance Sim is unacceptable.

Sim Rule #13

When the Commanding Officer of any Federation Temporal Alliance Sim calls for Attention, everyone who has a rank lower than the Commanding Officer of the Federation Temporal Alliance Sim in question MUST say "::AA::".

Sim Rule #14

No one is allowed to leave any Federation Temporal Alliance Sim without being properly dismissed by either the Commanding Officer of the Federation Temporal Alliance Sim in question or a Superior Officer or without a valid reason given upon return.

-Section 3-
Federation Temporal Alliance Member Rights

Member Right #1

If you feel you were kicked out of any Federation Temporal Alliance sim unjustly, you are granted a trial before the Judge Advocate General(s) of the Federation Temporal Alliance.

Member Right #2

If you are harassed in any way by another member of the Federation Temporal Alliance, you may have the individual in question stand trial before the Judge Advocate General(s) of the Federation Temporal Alliance.

Member Right #3

If you feel you have been discriminated against by any other member of the Federation Temporal Alliance, you may have that individual in question stand trial before the Judge Advocate General(s) of the Federation Temporal Alliance.

Member Right #4

If you lost your trial or did not win a trial before the Judge Advocate General(s) of the Federation Temporal Alliance, you may take the case in question directly to the Federation Temporal Alliance High Council.

Member Right #5

If you are in any chatroom and people have questions about the Federation Temporal Alliance, you are not to answer them unless a superior officer of the Federation Temporal Alliance is not present. The only questions you may answer are questions concerning your character in the Federation Temporal Alliance and/or your opinion about the Federation Temporal Alliance without breaking Section 1-Website Rule #3.

-Section 4-
Federation Temporal Alliance Non-Member Rights

Non-Member Right #1

If you applied for a Federation Temporal Alliance sim and were not accepted, and you feel the reason is unjustified, you may have your case reviewed by the Judge Advocate General(s) of the Federation Temporal Alliance.

Non-Member Right #2

If you were harassed/discriminated against in any way by any member of the Federation Temporal Alliance, you may have the individual in question stand trial before the Judge Advocate General(s) of the Federation Temporal Alliance.

Non-Member Right #3

If you do so wish to apply to the Federation Temporal Alliance, you have the option of entering the Federation Temporal Alliance Academy. This is not manditory, meerly a training session to teach you the basics of simming in the Federation Temporal Alliance.

Non-Member Right #4

As a non-member of the Federation Temporal Alliance, you do not have to address any officer of the Federation Temporal Alliance as "Sir". If you are forced to, then you may have the individual in question stand trial before the Judge Advocate General(s) of the Federation Temporal Alliance.

Non-Member Right #5

If you feel your trial before the Judge Advocate General(s) of the Federation Temporal Alliance was unjustly decided, you may have the case taken directly to the Federation Temporal Alliance High Council.

-Section 5-
Having Your Ship(s)/Sim Group Merge With The Federation Temporal Alliance

Merger Rule #1

Any ship(s) merging with the Federation Temporal Alliance must not be property of any other sim group, unless the entire sim group is merging with the Federation Temporal Alliance.

Merger Rule #2

Any ship(s)/sim groups merging with the Federation Temporal Alliance must have at least a crew of 4 individuals on their ship(s).

Merger Rule #3

If you are a member of the Federation Temporal Alliance, your rank in any Federation Temporal Alliance sim will not increase because you have merged with the Federation Temporal Alliance.

Merger Rule #4

If your ship(s)/sim group have any members with the rank of Commodore/Brigadier General or higher, we will have to demote them to the rank of Captain/Colonel or lower.

Merger Rule #5

Your ship(s)/sim group cannot be in any sim war with a/other sim group(s)/ship(s).

Merger Rule #6

The head of the Federation Temporal Alliance, which is the Fleet Admiral, will have to view your ship(s)/sim group in a sim. He/She is to be accompanied by a Federation Temporal Alliance Diplomatic Officer in all meetings concerning any merger. The Diplomatic Officer in question will be selected by the Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance.

Merger Rule #7

At the time of final agreement of the merger in question, the Federation Temporal Alliance is to have the Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance, Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance, Vice Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance, Rear Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance, Commodore of the Federation Temporal Alliance, Field Marshall of the Federation Temporal Alliance Marine Corps, General of the Federation Temporal Alliance Marine Corps, Major General of the Federation Temporal Alliance Marine Corps, Lieutenant General of the Federation Temporal Alliance Marine Corps, Brigadier General of the Federation Temporal Alliance Marine Corps, Master Chief Petty Officer of Starfleet, Seargent Major of the Marine Corps, Chief Warrant Officer of the Federation Temporal Alliance, one Diplomatic Officer of the Federation Temporal Alliance, preferrably the individual who viewed the sim of the merging party with the Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance, one Ensign from the Federation Temporal Alliance who is chosen by the Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance, and one non-member of both the Federation Temporal Alliance and the merging party in question present.

-Section 6-
Rank Rules

Rank Rule#1

During any Federation Temporal Alliance Sim, you are to address your superiors as "Sir" or by their respective ranks.

Rank Rule #2

The Fleet Admiral Of the Federation Temporal Alliance will appoint all recruits their rank. Rank is determined by the Federation Temporal Alliance application. The Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance has the right to give whatever rank he/she wishes to.

Rank Rule #3

The Commanding Officer of the ship you serve on in the Federation Temporal Alliance has the right to either demote your rank or promote you up to the rank of Lieutenant Commander/Major. Any rank in the Federation Temporal Alliance passed Lieutenant Commander/Major must be appointed by the Federation Temporal Alliance High Council. (i.e. Holding a rank passed Commodore/Brigadier General.)

Rank Rule #4

Any character in the Federation Temporal Alliance cannot promote him/herself.

Rank Rule #5

Anyone in the Federation Temporal Alliance that wishes to command a ship must hold the rank of Commander or higher.

Rank Rule #6

Anyone in the Federation Temporal Alliance that wishes to command a squad in the Federation Temporal Alliance Marines must hold the rank of Marine Captain/Seargent Major of the Federation Temporal Alliance Fleet/Chief Warrant Officer or higher.

Rank Rule #7

Anyone in the Federation Temporal Alliance that wishes to command a squadron of fighters in the Federation Temporal Alliance Pilot Corps must hold the rank of Pilot Commander or higher.

Rank Rule #8

Anyone in the Federation Temporal Alliance that wishes to command a group of Intelligence Officers must hold the rank of Intelligence Commander or higher.

Rank Rule #9

The Judge Advocate General(s) of the Federation Temporal Alliance, no matter what rank she/he might hold, are not to take part in any Federation Temporal Alliance Sim unless the storyline of the Federation Temporal Alliance Sim in question requires one. The may, however, view the sim.

Rank Rule #10

Everyone in the Federation Temporal Alliance is to address the Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance by his/her rank.

Rank Rule #11

The Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance has the right to demote/fire any member of the Federation Temporal Alliance with/without reason and/or a trial before the Judge Advocate General(s) of the Federation Temporal Alliance and/or the Federation Temporal Alliance High Council.

Rank Rule #12

All personnel in the Federation Temporal Alliance with the rank of Warrant Officer 1st Class can be promoted to Chief Warrant Officer only by a member of the Federation Temporal Alliance High Council.

-Section 7-
Commanding Officer Rules

Commanding Officer Rule #1

All Federation Temporal Alliance Sim Commanding Officer's are to respect their crew-members. This rule is in association with Section 2-Sim Rule #1 and Sim Rule #4.

Commanding Officer Rule #2

All Federation Temporal Alliance Sim Commanding Officers are to be kind and curitous to everyone whether they be or not be Federation Temporal Alliance crew-members. This rule is in association with Section 2-Sim Rule #1 and Sim Rule #4 and Section 7-Commanding Officer Rule #1.

Commanding Officer Rule #3

All Federation Temporal Alliance Sim Commanding Officers can promote their crew up to the rank of Lieutenant Commander/Major. This rule is in association with Section 6-Rank Rule #3.

Commanding Officer Rule #4

Being a Commanding Officer in any Federation Temporal Alliance Sim does not give you the authorization to harass/discriminate/abuse your crew nor anyone else, member or non-member of the Federation Temporal Alliance.

Commanding Officer Rule #5

Commanding Officers in the Federation Temporal Alliance must not promote anyone with the rank of Warrant Officer 1st Class to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer. Only a member of the Federation Temporal Alliance High Council may do so. This rule is in association with Section 6-Rank Rule #12.

Commanding Officer Rule #6

The Federation Temporal Alliance Sim you command is property of the Federation Temporal Alliance High Council and not yours. Commanding Officers of the Federation Temporal Alliance are not to take their crew and merge with any other group. This rule is in association with Section 2-Sim Rule #9 and Sim Rule #10.

-Section 8-
Federation Temporal Alliance High Council Rules

FTA High Council Rule #1

The Federation Temporal Alliance High Council is made up of only those individuals with the rank of Commodore/Brigadier General/Master Chief Petty Officer of Starfleet/Seargent Major of the Marine Corps/Chief Warrant Officer or higher if applies.

FTA High Council Rule #2

Everyone in the Federation Temporal Alliance High Council must address the Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance by his/her rank. This rule is in association with Section 6-Rank Rule #10.

FTA High Council Rule #3

The Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance is the highest rank possible in the Federation Temporal Alliance. He/She also carries the name Commander in Chief of the Federation Temporal Alliance. Only one person is allowed this rank.

FTA High Council Rule #4

Any member of the Federation Temporal Alliance High Council may have their rank taken away by either the Judge Advocate General(s) of the Federation Temporal Alliance or the Federation Temporal Alliance High Council by a unanimous vote.

FTA High Council Rule #5

No member of the Federation Temporal Alliance High Council is to harass/discriminate/abuse any other member of the Federation Temporal Alliance.

FTA High Council Rule #6

Understand that in the Federation Temporal Alliance, the rank of Field Marshall of the Federation Temporal Alliance Marine Corps is not equal to the rank of Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance, yet the other ranks of General, Admiral, Major General, Vice Admiral, Lieutenant General, Rear Admiral, Brigadier General, and Commodore are equal to their respective ranks. The only time that the Field Marshall of the Federation Temporal Alliance Marine Corps has power equal to the Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance is when and only when the Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance is not present during any decision(s) that affect the Federation Temporal Alliance in any way.

FTA High Council Rule #7

On the date of September 1, the Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance, Field Marshall of the Federation Temporal Alliance Marine Corps, Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance, and General of the Federation Temporal Alliance Marine Corps will be announced.

-Section 9-
Federation Temporal Alliance Election Rules

FTA Election Rule #1

If you wish to run for the position of Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance or Field Marshall of the Federation Temporal Alliance Marine Corps, you must at least hold the rank of Vice Admiral/Major General or higher.

FTA Election Rule #2

All and only members of the Federation Temporal Alliance and are allowed to vote.

FTA Election Rule #3

Elections are held once a year and the winners will be announced on September 1.

FTA Election Rule #4

Only 4 people are allowed to run for the positions of Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance and Field Marshall of the Federation Temporal Alliance Marine Corps.

FTA Election Rule #5

There will be 2 elections held. The first will be on August 1 to detemine who the people running will be. The second will be held on September 1 to determine who the winners are.

FTA Election Rule #6

The winners of the Federation Temporal Alliance election are given the rank of Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance or Field Marshall of the Federation Temporal Alliance Marine Corps.

FTA Election Rule #7

The runner-ups of the Federation Temporal Alliance election will be given the ranks of Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance or General of the Federation Temporal Alliance Marine Corps.

FTA Election Rule #8

The current Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance and Field Marshall of the Federation Temporal Alliance Marine Corps may choose to run for a re-election, however, if they so happen to loose or do not choose to run for another term, they will automatically be demoted to the rank of Vice Admiral or Major General.

FTA Election Rule #9

The current Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance and General of the Federation Temporal Alliance Marine Corps may choose to run for a higher rank, however, if they do not choose to run for a higher rank, they will automatically be demoted to the rank of Rear Admiral or Lieutenant General.

FTA Election Rule #10

Each candidate of the Federation Temporal Alliance has from the date of August 1 to September 1 to persuade as many members of the Federation Temporal Alliance as possible into voting for her/him.

FTA Election Rule #11

In the event of a tie, the Federation Temporal Alliance election will go into overtime. This lasts for 6 days. After the week has ended, the elections are held again on Septemeber 7.

FTA Election Rule #12

In the event of another tie, the former Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance and the former Field Marshall of the Federation Temporal Alliance Marine Corps will choose the winners.

FTA Election Rule #13

No Judge Advocate General(s) of the Federation Temporal Alliance may run for the rank of Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance or Field Marshall of the Federation Temporal Alliance Marine Corps regardless of their rank.

FTA Election Rule #14

All votes will be tallied in the Federation Temporal Alliance Message Boards.

FTA Election Rule #15

All Federation Temporal Alliance election decisions are final and cannot be changed unless corruption/cheating is suspected in which case, the matter is to be settled before the Federation Temporal Alliance High Council and the Judge Advocate General(s) of the Federation Temporal Alliance.

-Section 10-
Judge Advocate General Rules

JAG Rule #1

No Judge Advocate General(s) of the Federation Temporal Alliance is to participate in any Federation Temporal Alliance Sim unless the storyline requires one to be present. This rule is in association with Section 6-Rank Rule #9.

JAG Rule #2

Judge Advocate Generals in the Federation Temporal Alliance cannot run for the rank of Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance nor Field Marshall of the Federation Temporal Alliance Marine Corps. They may, however, change their job in the Federation Temporal Alliance to a position in which they may run for the rank of Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance or Field Marshall of the Federation Temporal Alliance Marine Corps in the future. This rule is in association with Section 9-FTA Election Rule #13.

JAG Rule #3

If any Judge Advocate General(s) in the Federation Temporal Alliance wishes to change their jobs so they may run for office, their ranks will be determined by the Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance. Their current rank will not be transferred to their new job in the Federation Temporal Alliance.

JAG Rule #4

The Judge Advocate General(s) of the Federation Temporal Alliance can impeach the Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance only by a unanimous vote by the Judge Advocate General(s) of the Federation Temporal Alliance and the Federation Temporal Alliance High Council.

JAG Rule #5

The highest rank that can be given to any Judge Advocate General(s) of the Federation Temporal Alliance is Judge Advocate General Vice Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance.

JAG Rule #6

If any Judge Advocate General(s) of the Federation Temporal Alliance abuses his/her power in the Federation Temporal Alliance, he/she may stand trial before the Federation Temporal Alliance High Council.

JAG Rule #7

Everyone who wishes to be a Judge Advocate General in the Federation Temporal Alliance must prove he/she is qualified for the job in a mock trial played by the Federation Temporal Alliance High Council.

JAG Rule #8

Anyone who is accepted into being a Judge Advocate General in the Federation Temporal Alliance is to start off with the rank of Judge Advocate General Ensign.

JAG Rule #9

If you are a Judge Advocate General in the Federation Temporal Alliance, you must obey all the rules stated here. Being a Judge Advocate General in the Federation Temporal Alliance does not give you special rights to not do so.

JAG Rule #10

Any decisions any Judge Advocate General in the Federation Temporal Alliance makes is not final. It can be overruled only by the Federation Temporal Alliance High Council by a 2/3 rds vote.

JAG Rule #11

Understand that any Judge Advocate General(s) of the Federation Temporal Alliance can either be fired or have their rank demoted with or without just cause by the Fleet Admiral of the Federation Temporal Alliance. This rule is in association with Section 6-Rank Rule #11.

JAG Rule #12

The Judge Advocate General(s) of the Federation Temporal Alliance may suspend/change these rules stated here with a valid reason agreed to by the Judge Advocate General(s) of the Federation Temporal Alliance and the Federation Temporal Alliance High Council by a unanimous vote of both parties.

-Section 11-
