Single Play
Slayer

There will be a 'Free For All' (FFA) style of tournament play. This will be a chance for you to bring your A game and own the rest of the River Valley. When this battle is over, however bruised and worn you are, the sweet sight of your opponents blood on your MJOLNR armor will be almost as satisfying as the fame, prestige, and honor that goes along with being the reigning champion of the Battle on the Border.

- The points and ranking system for the single match play will be the standard Halo scoring system.

- This will be a bracketed event. Eight competitors will battle at once, split between 4 XBOXes. The top 4 will advance. The Elite Eight will become the Final Four, then the Final match resulting with a single winner.

- In the event of uneven matches (less than 8 players) the top losers will fill these spots. The losers will compete for the best loser and all the glory that goes along with it,

- FFA will be standard Slayer game type with few exceptions. There will be no radar. Play will be to 50 kills.

- The maps will change for each bracket. Both brackets will play the same map

- In the event of a tie, the battle judge will pick the map for the resulting tie breaker fight. All players will battle in this map, deathmatch style, battling to 5 kills, without shields.
Last Man Standing

There will also be a Last Man Standing event held. There will be no respawn during this game. Each player will start with max life and max shields. As of right now the map for this event is undecided.

- This will also be a bracketed event if enough participants turn out.

- 16 people will compete at a time.

- Maximum carnage will ensue.

- Gunners rule, campers dro0l.
