Ashlain became a part of the Ki'est Continuity on the 13th of April officially as the dream was formally recognized by the queen then on one date prior it had been used as a location for the Ki'est players to congregate when the primary dream was down. In its first week the dream has seen some light RP, and a bit of development, while it seems the majority of those who know of Ki'est seem not to realize that Ashlain is both real and legitimate this hasn't hampered some of the regular players from visiting. So far everything but all out war has occurred in Ashlain in its one week of formal existence on the Ki'est radar. But then that warfare part could be coming sooner then anyone thinks. Even so everyone seems to be awaiting Sanguis's return as both she and Acelina have been out of contact on both an OOC and IC level for a few days.

It has been quiet on the western front thus far, with a few interesting persons checking the place out, some staying to rp some not, it seems that perhaps things are a bit on the slow side but then there�s nothing wrong with that. The dream has went from 400kb to 608kb mostly due to refinements and modifications being added all the time plus new patch items are being made almost daily to suit the needs of the dream the latest being a new catapult item perhaps a furcadian first. Speaking on the Inter kingdom front is the standing issue with the bounties placed on the Queen's head; to date no one has ever tried to collect, could it be because everyone knows better or perhaps because the amount is not great enough. Of course you can�t have a Kingdom without seeing who your neighbors are, or should I say your neighbors seeing who you are maybe in due time some conversation can be built up providing continuities dont crash into each other.

Sorry for the dream outage, it seems Verizon screwed up and credited my bill payment to someone lse's bill. Now that it's fixed Ashlain is back on track and sanguis is back too. More then that I am now offering to anyone who wants them three new Free dreams. They are all basic patch using upgradeable dreams that are fit for modification, but this offer only applies to standing members of Ki'est who want a special dream where half the work is already done. at the current time three dreams are availible.

In an emergency meeting tonight convened reguaring a new public policy a previously deadlocked Parlament came to a decision reguarding the new magic licenceing laws. With the final vote bein a 3 against to 2 for the licences. The sudden shift in policy is a result of the common realization that while Ashlain is a territory of Ki'est, it is still it's own functional government with the ability to reject any and all laws that would impair the freedoms of it's citizens. When asked about his thoughts on the licencing, Xiang liao had this to say. "You know it's about every fourty years or so someone tries to pass a law like this and about every ten years the aforementioned law gets repealed due to massive defiance. I just wish they had held an open debate on the matter when folks go from asking, to demanding bad things happen and the people notice."
