Vehicle Operations Basics
In this section of the 150G resource I'll be covering the basics of how to RP combat involving vehicles in a way that prevents costly ooc arguements and keeps other players from calling you a twink. Since 150G allows the use of sanctioned vehicles so read up, this article could be your best friend in a fight. - SMG
VEHICLE POSTING
Vehicle operations functions exactly like your posting for yourself, your allowed the same advantages and disadvantages but you may have the extra responcibility of posting for NPC's in your vehicle. take this example which acually occured in an RP in nightskye.

John McCean would quietly nod to him soldiers in the main compartment, the tank cleaned, and ready, even given an awesome paintjob... Inside of the troop compartment, the tank's complement of 21 fully equiped SF troops inculding one Dragon anti-tank squad, a light mortar squad and a Heavy Machine gun quad... The tank would roar around the corner, like a roaring lion it's treads digging into the road deeply, no road was made for a beast that any trooper facing down this iron giant...
This is exactly what a top-notch vehicle ops post should look like, it's long because your writing out actions for a few folks, plus, also considering their movements and passive actions. John in this case is the tank commander and thus has the most vital and active parts in the entire post but theres a flurry of action about him as well.
The above was a traditional multi-person vehicle post, these are posts where the single vehicle or group of vehicles is operated by a single player so he or she has to post for everyone involved. Before anyone looks at this funny and wonders why he couldn't just run his tank by himself the answer is simple,  a tank is a cramped vehicle, The dirvers compartment is always up front while the gunner and or loader positions are always in the turret or under the turret, it is rare that either can reach the other without exposing one self and even then someone still has to extract the shells. Point is, a tank is begger then most people think, it absolutely requires two people to work properly, which can be done with guild sanctioned NPC use, or by two players working  within the confines of the same unit.
Tancred Woodbine reaches to feed the munitions belt into the mounted MG in the cramped confines of the innards of his IFV, he'd tried before to do this only to  have the vehicle hit a rough bump in the road making him drop the munitions chain. After a few tries he finally gets it in, and pills the trigger setting the MG to spitting a hail of bullets at the pursuing mechanized infantry....the minor victory isn't meant to last as the gun jams suddenly leaving him in a similar position to having had the belt shot off...he mumbled a curse at his luck and began trying to unjam the gun... The post here is how one should handle the occasional jam, of course well maintained guns dont jam much unless they were badly designed, which you should consult gun sites for information on. The older a gun is and the more parts it is often means you'd best expect to have jamming troubles every five or so posts worth of use if you have to decide randomly if it jams or not do so but remember unjamming a gun takes two full posts. The post above indicates that tancred has started but it doesn't count because he took his action for this post cycle anyway. Just remember...the worse the jam the higher the chance of the shell getting set off in the breech somewhere.

Of course something that is lacking in rp's that allow players to have vehicles is a clear deffinition of the vehicles in question. Such things do not have to be complex just fairly defined so you know your milits and can figure betterways to operate within them.
